NATHAN visits Hamworthy Middle School

OUR POP CONCERT

Friday November 3rd started like any other day.  We did normal subjects, such as maths and science, little did we know what an exciting afternoon was in store for us.

It all started when our teacher announced that a surprise had been planned for us.  At playtime, everyone was trying to guess what the mystery event could be.  By lunch, we were all awaiting further information and were in great suspense.  Many grins spread over pupils' faces as we discovered that we were going to be watching a pop concert in the hall.

When 1:00pm arrived, we trooped into the hall, took our places, watching carefully for the star of the show who we had been told was Nathan, an up and coming professional pop star.  A lively DJ introduced himself as Marky B and then the moment we were all waiting for finally arrived as Nathan entered the room.

The afternoon went really quickly as Nathan sang some of his brilliant songs and we got involved by clapping along to the songs and learning lots of different dance moves.  But the highlight of the performance was definitely when the teachers were invited to show the dance moves.  It was hilarious.  We were all so upset when this amazing experience came to an end.
